Computer Game Concept
Video game 1
Video game 3
In conclusion, I have produced three game ideas and I have chosen my second called "Hellrats". I have chosen this idea because I believe this would be a challenging experience, as the sprites and game objects may be difficult to make. This will help me develop my skills as a game designer.
PowerPoint Presentation
1. Brief Introduction:
My game
will be a 2D puzzle plat-former that will follow a character called “Gypsy” he
is a young traveller who wants to find a secret treasure that will set him up
in luxury for life.
2. Terrain:
My games terrain texture will change depending on the level. It will start in a small country forest with brown soil, green grass with trees of autumn. Other levels like a city will have cobble stone floor or a pirate ship which will have wood textures.

3. Architecture:
Being that my game will be using a 2D engine I can create pictures for my levels on Photoshop or other illustrator platforms. My games architecture will be country houses, small towns and maybe a pirate ship or other dangerous location.

4. Objects:
I will create sprites that will be objects in my game. Objects in my game may be wooden barrels, breakable bricks, cannons or other dangerous obstacles for the player.

6. Non-Playing
Characters (NPC):
The Non-playable characters in my game will be vendors like a weapon smith to repair armor, traveling field nurse so the player can heal their character or magician so the player can buy power-ups. Disclaimer I do not have names for these characters yet.

7. Feedback:
I will create and manipulate audio or download royalty free audio for my game. This audio will be used in the game as feedback noise for example, the player breaks a object like a barre and it makes a BANG! Sound.
Feedback - Morgan: I like it i think it would be an interesting game.
Kyle: this is a good idea.

8. Interface:
My game will have a 2D perspective so the interface for my game will be at the top left or bottom of the screen as I do not want it to get in the way of the level environment. It will include a health bar to show how much damage the player has taken, how many coins and special collectibles the player has gotten, and lastly the types of magical power-ups they have like a fireball or lightning bolt attack.

9. Perspectives:
I will be using a 2D engine probably Construct 2 so my game will have a 2D view point this is so the player can see the level affront them.
10. Full-Motion Video (FMV):I will be using a 2D engine probably Construct 2 so my game will have a 2D view point this is so the player can see the level affront them.
I do not know if I can add FMV cut-scenes into construct. I
will find out this information and if possible, I will add cut-scenes treating
the player to the characters dancing or some sort of celebration after
completing a level or the game.

stakeholders to accurately visualize the story-line, purpose and direction of
the new game concept. You may use PowerPoint to collate your materials.
